Annual JULT, DRML Bird Slide Talk and Walk

Past event
May 9, 2019

On Thursday night at 6:30 I will present a slide talk on the birds of Vermont. If you've wanted to learn about the birds you see and hear in your woods or yard, this talk may help you learn how to identify some of them. Saturday at 7 am we will use what we learned as we stroll through the Mills Riverside Park for a few lovely hours. It is important to please bring binoculars with you so that you can really see the birds. This talk and walk are sponsored by the Jericho Underhill Land Trust, and by the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library. I think it may be the 22nd annual walk there....before the park was a park! I love sharing my enthusiasm for these beautiful creatures that surround us. This is the peak time to see the males in their spring plumage and to hear their beautiful songs. Hope to see you then. Sabina Ernst will be along, with her broad knowledge of birds, and we welcome anyone who wants to be out in the beauty of Vermont with us.
