For the first time ever, Beenanza Design and Studio Bagru are hosting 4 block printing workshops over two days on May 18th & 19th under a tent at Foam Brewers in Burlington, VT. Tickets & more info are available at

This unique event will be hosted by Bethany Andrews-Nichols of Beenanza Design and Jeremy Fritzhand, founder of Studio Bagru located in Jaipur, India. Jeremy will be bringing over 60 hand carved wooden blocks, many designed by Bethany, with him from Jaipur for participants to print with using an assortment of colorful textile inks. Everyone is encouraged to BYOC - Bring Your Own Clothes, in an effort to increase awareness of sustainable fashion and environmental impact of our consumption. Using the provided inks and blocks guests will get the chance to
restyle their old (or new) clothes by printing designs on them.

Each ticket includes a blank tote bag and bandana for printing, a mini wood block, and drink ticket for each participant. Jeremy will provide a Block Print 101 demonstration to teach participants how to design and print on clothing and other textile products. Bethany will provide a brief guide to printing patterns - and all the possibilities that can develop from just one or two simple shapes.
