Guilford Recreation presents the 7th Annual Bike Night!
This year, we are excited to collaborate with VBike of Brattleboro to demonstrate exciting innovations including electric-assist technology and cargobikes, which profoundly expand the range, carrying capacity (children and cargo), hill climbing ease, comfort and the overall utility of biking. VBike's aim is to encourage healthy bodies, vibrant communities and a sustainable vision for our planet. VBike will be able to answer any questions you may have about the future of bicycle transport, and will have some bicycles present for all to check out. Also joining us is RiseVT, who will be providing materials and education related to bicycle safety.
Bring your human powered craft including bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, hover boards and more to this, FREE, all ages event! Ride with friends while listening to music, decorate your "wheels", and test your riding skills with a variety of fun challenges such as: Time Trials, Tight Rope Trick Ride, Stop on a Dime, and Newspaper Toss.
Helmets are required.
Other activities going on will be Jump Rope, Hoola Hoops, Bubbles, Chalk drawing.
Snacks and will be for sale. Please consider a donation for the snack bar.
