The Marlboro Cares Senior Lunch on Tuesday, February 4 at noon in the Community Center will feature Jeff Bower as our guest speaker and a hot lunch. Jeff has been an astronomer and astrophotographer since his time at Marlboro College in the 80s. He will walk us through some of his recent images of the sun and moon (and the 2024 eclipse!) as well as some images of star clusters and nebulae. If time permits there will be a discussion of equipment used and/or a look at some of the professional-level astrophotography being done around the world.

Lunches are for any Marlboro resident over the age of 60 for a suggested donation of $5. Reservations are a must to ensure there is enough food and seating for everyone. Please call 1-802-258-3030 by 9 am on Friday January 31 to reserve a seat or for any questions. This is a firm deadline, but if you miss it, you may call in and ask to be on the waitlist - just remember to leave your phone number. We ask that if you sign up, you make every effort to attend or to call to cancel BEFORE the Friday deadline, if possible. Please remember to tell us if you are vegetarian or gluten free. Rides to Senior Lunch are available upon request.
