Five Sisters Neighborhood Plant Swap Sunday

It's the 15th year of the annual Five Sisters Neighborhood Plant Swap!

The swap will be held this Sunday afternoon, May 5th at 3:00 pm.  This is a free community event.

Location: In our driveway and on the sidewalk at 44 Catherine St.

This is a free plant give-away, neighbor to neighbor.  If you're planning to remove or divide perennials, thin your garden beds, or if you have started more seedlings indoors than you'll need, consider bringing them to the plant swap.  Please label plants that you bring over, just in case they are hard to identify.

And, if you don't have plants to bring over, but you are looking for more plants for your garden, come to the Plant Swap!  You are welcome to take plants even if you have none to swap. We are happy to send neighbors home with plants to establish their gardens.

Bring a wheel barrow or a red wagon to take plants home in if you can - there will be lots to choose from.  Each year we give away and trade hundreds of flowering plants and other perennials and annuals.

Here are some of the types of plants you may find: Black Currants, Irises, Lily of the Valley, Day Lily, Pachysandra, Daisies, Tomatoes, Strawberries, Raspberries, Ferns, Hostas, Lady's Mantle, Echinacea, Lemon Balm, Bee Balm, Phlox, Periwinkle, and so many more - all free for the taking (and planting!)

Arrive at the beginning for best selection, as plants move out quickly.

Feel free to email me with any questions. Hope to see you there.
