Soovin Kim and the Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival will present a FREE ON-LINE lecture, " The Voices of Bach's Violin." Soovin is a lively, engaging speaker who brings Bach's music and ideas to life, regardless of your musical background.

J.S. Bach's Six Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin are among the most inventive and challenging works ever written. Soovin Kim is Artistic Director of the Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival and celebrated for his interpretations of these pieces. He will discuss and demonstrate how Bach created a rich, multi-voiced sound world using the traditionally melodic, single-voiced violin.
