Vermont Patient's Alliance, Montpelier's Medical Cannabis Dispensary, will be giving a mini-class on Medical Cannabis 101 at the Jacquith Library in Marshfield on Wednesday, May 1st at 7 p.m. and the following week, Wednesday, May 8th at 6:30 p.m. at the Hunger Mountain Co-op Community Room in Montpelier.

Dispensary staff will be discussing the basics of how to approach cannabis as medicine. We'll cover how to find an optimal dose, how to pick the best delivery method for you, different cannabis strains, the endocannabionid system, opiate synergy and some of the health benefits of using cannabis as medicine. We'll also dispel some myths about cannabis and discuss navigating the medical marijuana system in Vermont.

There will be time to answer questions. Snacks will be provided. We look forward to helping you navigate the intricacies of this unique plant medicine.
