Hey Neighbors! I wanted to spread the word about a free, fun, family event that I help plan every year. It is called Vermont Breakfast on the Farm, and is a free breakfast and self-guided educational farm tour! Join us this summer on June 22 at Maxwell's Neighborhood Farm in Newport, or at the Sprague Ranch in Brookfield July 27.

You'll enjoy a free, Vermont-inspired pancake breakfast, then set off on a self-guided farm tour to see first-hand the skills dairy farmers and their partner's use to be successful in 2019 and beyond. A kid-friendly scavenger hunt includes milking a pretend cow, riding a smoothie blending bicycle, and much more. The events are fun for the whole family!

Vermont Breakfast on the Farm is a completely free educational event, but you must reserve tickets at www.VermontBreakfastontheFarm.com. Get your tickets soon because these events usually sell out!

I'll be a part of the volunteer crew that makes these events possible and recommend it as a great way to spend a summer day.
