Hello folks!
We are just over a week away from Green up Day 2019 on May 4th!
Green up bags are in and can be picked up at numerous locations throughout the town. Please pick up the bags you will need at the Bolton Town Office, Highway Garage, Smilie School, and Bolton store.
If you wish to start a week early that is more than welcome! Lets work within our little hamlets of Bolton to ensure all our roads are covered. (I have already been told the lower half of the access road and route 2 area have been cleaned up! Thank you!!)
As an awareness, please make sure you are wearing proper gloves and clothing to protect yourself while Greening up. Please take extra precaution if you come across illegal substances, needles etc. If you know of areas that you have seen these and do not feel comfortable safely picking these up contact me and i can deal with the matter.
Full Bags and other stuff picked up can be dropped off at the Highway Garage the day of Green up or left on the roadside for pick up!
After or before you Green up May 4th please stop by Smilie Memorial School from 11am-3pm for the BBQ. If you would like to bring a dish to share that would be greatly appreciated! Burgers and Dogs will be provided and some beverages other munchies! We will have a DJ playing music during the time frame from AM Entertainment! Fingers crossed for good weather!! Thank you for doing your part for the community!!
