On Palm Sunday we again remember when Jesus and his disciples marched into Jerusalem. It was a muddy time: everyone, including perhaps Jesus's own disciples, expected one thing and got another. No surprise they were later disappointed and upset. Jesus's life and mission were not built on roses; salvation comes in the muddiness of life.
And so, on Saturday, April 13th, the day before Palm Sunday, we will be hiking through the mud ourselves. 9 a.m. at Mt. Hunger. As is the case with Waterbury Center Community Church's previous Holy Hikes, we'll be taking time to pray with another about what's going on in our own lives, but this Saturday in particular we'll reflect on the muddy march experience of Jesus and his disciples.
Join us for a fun, muddy, prayerful time!
