Mountain River School is moving to a new 200 + acre campus in Morrisville, VT for Fall 2019!
We would like to invite you to join us and experience our unique innovative educational model at Mountain River School. We offer opportunities for children to learn in a holistic, nurturing and learner-centered environment that is focused on a foundational curriculum that offers students both choice and voice in their education.
Our mission is to inspire children's lifelong passion for learning and cultivate healthy, compassionate, environmentally-conscious individuals who follow their dreams and contribute with conviction to the world.
Students learn through a place-based model that increases engagement, learning outcomes, and community impact. Children follow personalized pathways for learning, engage in project-based and mastery learning, and grow in self-awareness and leadership. Creativity and the arts are integrated through the day and woven into learning experiences. And.. students enjoy learning!
We'll have an introductory presentation starting at 5:30 pm followed by a simulation of the school experience where you get to be the student and see the Mountain River difference. Space is limited. Please RSVP to patricia@mountainriverschool.org

We are currently enrolling K-8th grade students for the 2019-2020 school year. We are actively exploring the viability of a middle school program, as well as a preschool program.
We view the preschool years as an incredibly special time in a child's life where the magic of learning begins to manifest and take shape. We are looking for community feedback to help determine the needs of families with preschool age children.
