This sculptor has it nailed!

Shelburne Museum invites you to a spirited conversation, gallery tour, and reception with artist John Bisbee.

John Bisbee: New Blooms, currently on view, features Bisbee's inventive large-scale works formed from the manipulation of 12-inch bright common nails that are wrought individually and then welded together to create the finished form.

Bisbee describes his work as "the ubiquitous object blown open into an expansive new existence that its original utility never dreamt of." Talk and reception are at 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 11. Free with Museum admission. Please RSVP to 985-3346, x3393 or education@shelburnemuseum.org. Hope to see you there!
