CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS? Liberalism/Conservatism, Then and Now
March 13, 2019, 7-8:30 p.m.
Kellogg Hubbard Library, Hayes Room, 135 Main Street, Montpelier
RSVP: lwvofvt@gmail.com

Join the League of Women Voters and Kellogg-Hubbard Library for the third presentation in its Constitutional Crisis? series.

This time, the League is looking at the terms, liberal and conservative...terms that dominate the landscape of the 21st century political world but date back beyond the 18th century. Our Guest Speaker Anthony Gierzynski, Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at University of Vermont will discuss divergent paths of both ideologies and examine denotations from historic and contemporary perspectives.

The event is open to the public. RSVPs are encouraged in case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government.
