"The Merchant of Venice" at Plainfield Little Theatre

This was posted in January, but now that the show is available for you to see (tonight, tomorrow, Sunday, or next week!), I figured it would be worth posting again. So:

PLAINFIELD LITTLE THEATRE announces its winter production of William Shakespeare's gripping comedy/drama, THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, February 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, at 7pm, and February 17, 24, at 2pm, at the PLAINFIELD OPERA HOUSE, 18 High Street (US Route 2), in Plainfield, Vermont. General admission $15, and students / seniors $12. Call 229-5290 or email blachly@together.net for ticket reservations. This production, set in Fascist Italy, is directed by Tom Blachly, and stars Sorsha Anderson as Portia; Richard Littauer as Bassanio; Adam Woogmaster as Antonio; and Matthew Grant Winston as Shylock. Other cast members include: Jessica Della Pepa; Rob Weiss; Nicholas Hecht; Jenny Gundy; Robbie Harold; Christine Williamson; Jeff Maclay; Fergus Ryan; Pollaidh Major; Joe Lee; Jesse Clayton; Xavier Woogmaster; and Keith Swann. Robbie Harold is the dramaturge; Lori Stratton is the stage manager; Nicholas Hecht is the set designer; and Carol Rogstad-Meunier is the costume designer.
