Capital City Concerts' "Heart & Soul" concert is this Sunday, February 17 at 3PM at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. The remarkable cellist Edward Arron returns with wife, pianist Jeewon Park, violinist Theodore Arm, and flutist Karen Kevra for Valentine's weekend. "Musical Valentines" include Massenet's Meditation from Thaïs for violin and piano, Saint-Saëns' "The Swan" for cello and piano from The Carnival of the Animals. They will also perform Piazzolla's Grand Tango, and one of chamber music's masterpieces, Brahms', Trio No. 1, Op. 8 in B major. And, specialty cookies prepared by Middlesex's own Chef Andre Burnier will be offered free of charge during intermission.
