Do you like to sing? Are you looking for a different group singing experience?
This workshop is open to all levels of experience. CircleSinging* is easy to learn and has endless possibilities since melodies are made up in the moment. It is a joyful way to sing together without having to know how to read music.
This group will be led by Jody Albright and Diane Tetrault, both long time educators and singers. We'll be leading exercises and teaching different approaches for creating improvised songs.
*this name is ascribed to a method developed by singer Bobby McFerrin, although singing in a circle is an ancient tradition found in many oral traditions.
