Tickets are now on sale for this year's Friends of the Aldrich Library Annual Winter Banquet / Auction will be held on Saturday, March 2, at the Barre Elks. It's a wonderful community event in support of one of Barre's best resources.

Meet friends and neighbors at 5:30 pm for a cash bar, appetizers prepared by the Friends, and browsing the silent auction. The oven-roasted beef dinner (vegetarian option available) will be served at 6:30 pm, followed by a live auction featuring choice items such as a Vermont Teddy Bear, original art by local artists, a handmade quilt, tickets to local events, gift certificates from area merchants, and a delectable homemade pecan pie.

Tickets are $30 per person, and if you purchase your tickets by February 15, you will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 gift certificate to the Quarry Kitchen and Spirits.
