The Mountain Top Film Festival and Harwood Peace Alliance presents City of Joy on January 21st at 7:00 PM at the Big Picture Theatre in Waitsfield. This documentary reveals the unique leadership community for women who are survivors of violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Turning pain into power, one woman at a time. Admission will be by donation and all proceeds will be given to the City of Joy. Following the film, we hope to have an opportunity for audience members to ask questions to a person from DRC and organizations in Vermont that help women who have been victims of violence.
