MLK Jr. Day Community Lunch and Discussion

On January 21st, community volunteers will join AmeriCorps and VISTA members in hosting a free community lunch and discussion in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. The event will be held at the Unitarian Church of Montpelier (130 Main St.) and is open to all. Lunch will be served lunch from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, and Capstone will be facilitating the community discussion from 1 PM to 3 PM. The topic of the discussion will be Economic Justice.

AmeriCorps and VISTA members are also hosting a Food Drive for the Montpelier Food Pantry at the Hunger Mountain Co-op from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM; you can pick up a list of the Pantry's most needed items before you shop and drop off any donations before you leave.
