Anima, the well-known Vermont women's ensemble, together with the Frye and Lightning Consort, present "Splendid Star", at Christ Episcopal Church in Montpelier on Saturday, December 1st, at 7:00 pm. From the soaring chants of Hildegart Von Bingen, to medieval rounds and dance tunes, to Renaissance polyphony, this music looks forward to the return of the light and celebrates Mary, the mother.
