The Vermont Lake Monsters will be hosting their annual FREE Family Fun Fest this Saturday, November 17th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction.
Join CHAMP and the Lake Monsters for a morning of FREE fun and activities that will feature:
- Enter to win great raffle prizes, including a 4-ft tall Vermont Teddy Bear!
- Bounce in our inflatable obstacle course
- Munch on free hot dogs (limited quantity available, we only have 1,000!) thanks to McKenzie Country Classics
- Meet everyone's favorite lake monster, CHAMP!
- Make your own crafts and other fun activities
- Meet your favorite superheroes
- Make your own Frontier Airlines paper airplane and see how far it will fly! Be sure to grab your free one day parking pass for Burlington International Airport, presented by our friends at Frontier Airlines!
- Merchandise/souvenir table featuring Lake Monsters and Maple Kings gift ideas...and much, much more!
Although the event is free, we are teaming up with our friends at The Ford Motor Company Fund to encourage Fun Fest attendees to donate non-perishable food items to Aunt Dot's Place (a Vermont Foodbank network partner food shelf). Anyone who donates will be entered into a special drawing to win two (2) tickets to a 2019 Boston Red Sox home game (game TBD)! Donations will be collected at the door.
This free event is possible thanks to the generous support from The Vermont Agency, New England Federal Credit Union, Kinney Pike Insurance Professionals, Hall Communications (WOKO, Kool 105, and WIZN), Ford Motor Company Fund, Frontier Airlines, and The Homestead. Merchandise, ticket packages and holiday stocking stuffers will also be available for purchase at the Fun Fest.
