Friends of CVU Alpine Ski Team presents "10 Shorties" - A Ski Film Festival
This is the 2nd annual Ski Film Festival to benefit the CVU Alpine Ski Team.
When - Saturday evening November 10th
What is it? - an action packed collection of 10 short ski films from racing to backcountry and everything in between. (Go to this website for more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxadTUHaTQ8 , or search for "CVU Ski Film Festival Trailer")
What else? - there will also be light refreshments, a silent auction, and plenty of pre-season excitement as we head into another winter. Last year's show was a blast. There was great entertainment, a fantastic venue, enthusiastic crowd, and ice cream! We did sell out last year so don't delay!
Why? - This is to benefit the CVU Alpine Ski Team (Last year's overall Men/Women Combined Champions by the way!)
Why else? - Let's face it, skiing is expensive. Fund raising allows greater participation by keeping the costs as low as possible. While the team can be quite the competitive force, the CVU Alpine has always welcomed those of all abilities that are willing to put in the time, training and effort to be a part of the team. Help us continue that tradition.
How Much ? - Tickets are $15 - Doors open at 6:00, Film at 7:00
Where? - Main Street Landing Theater on the Burlington Waterfront (60 Lake Street)
