Capital City Concerts presents J.S. Bach's MAGNIFICAT on Saturday, November 3, 7:30PM at the Saint Augustine Church in Montpelier; AND Sunday, November 4, 3:00 PM at the Cathedral of Saint Paul, Burlington. This all-J.S. Bach concert is a historic event for Capital City Concerts and features the Magnificat with a five-part choir, orchestra conducted by Richard Riley, and world-renowned vocal soloists. These include mezzo-soprano Julie Boulianne who often appears at the Metropolitan Opera. Other works on the program include Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F major, BWV 1047, featuring Sycil Mathai-trumpet, Lucy Chapman-violin, Randall Wolfgang-oboe, and Karen Kevra-flute.
