The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce initiates the “Strategies for Success” series of professional development seminars on Thursday, February 27 from 3:30 – 5:00 pm at the St. Albans Free Library. Presenter Jay Cummings from Peoples Trust Company will present the first program, designed to help merchants use local financial and business development resources to open or expand a business. He will also review the various aspects of borrowing money to enhance a successful venture or build upon an existing business platform.
“Strategies for Success” will run on the last Thursday of each month, from February until November, and will cover a diversity of topics, such as time and business management, investment and retirement, and more. All seminars take place at the St. Albans Free Library on Maiden Lane from 3:30 – 5:00 pm. The seminars are free to Chamber members and $10 for non-members.
