Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Christine Hallquist will be touring Orleans County on Friday, Oct. 19th. She will be at the Eastside in Newport from 9:30-11:00 am, at Parker Pie in West Glover at 12:00-1:30 pm, and at Highland Lodge in Greensboro from 2:30-4:00pm. These events are open to the public and all are welcome.
Hallquist, the former CEO of Vermont Electric Cooperative, has said that her number one campaign issue is rural economic development. She also advocates for a strong social safety net for Vermonters, universal healthcare, universal broadband, and a $15 minimum wage.
