On Saturday (tomorrow), the Huntington PO will begin a two-week mail count. This arduous process is mandated in order to determine the salaries of the people who deliver our mail in town. Every single piece is counted - what goes out of your box as well as what goes into it. I encourage you to put your mail out for pick-up instead of dropping it into a random mailbox in town, write those thank-you notes from Christmas, and do everything you can to help our excellent postal people. Remember, every piece counts and these are our neighbors - and we should all be working to keep local jobs. Thanks.
