Lost Nation Theater brings you its world-premiere production of Howard Frank Mosher's novel DISAPPEARANCES Thu-Sun, Oct 4-21.
An exhilarating adventure tale, DISAPPEARANCES is the incredible story of a young man named Wild Bill Bonhomme and his larger-than-life father, Quebec Bill, who set out to smuggle Canadian liquor into Prohibition-era Vermont in a desperate attempt to keep their family farm afloat. The pair embark on a heroic whiskey-running mission in the bitter winter of 1932. On their epic journey through the wilderness, Bill and his father encounter a cast of unforgettable characters—and live out magical escapades as they carve their way into legend.
"In its comedy, its dark fantasy, and its outrageous characters, Disappearances is delightful." – Washington Post
"full of heartbreak & hilarity" - Stephen King.
