Reading to End Racism Orientation

Past event
Sep 29, 2018, 10 AM to 12 PM

Central VT Reading to End Racism raises awareness of the harm racism causes and teaches children skills and strategies to counter its negative effects. We are a non-profit organization of more than 100 volunteers and have had reading events hosted by more than 10 elementary schools throughout Central Vermont. We were founded by a group of concerned parents in Plainfield, Calais and Montpelier more than 20 years ago, and our work continues.

If you are interested in our organization and would like to be a volunteer, please join us for an orientation/ training on September 29th 10:00 a.m. - noon at the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier. You can also "like us" on Facebook!
