Over the past year, Huntington has been working towards a plan for our Town Forest and outdoor recreation that best reflects the values, needs, and desires of the community. Over 200 residents have participated throughout the process!

Our consultants (who have offered their services free of charge) are working hard to compile the input from the 2 public forums and surveys into a final plan with recommendations for implementation. The local Steering Committee will be presenting this plan to the Selectboard at their meeting on October 15th at 7:30pm at the Church Annex. Please join us for that meeting to hear a summary of the final plan and have another opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions.

We (the local Steering Committee with partnership from the Huntington Conservation Commission) look forward to sharing the outcome of this year-long process with the Selectboard and the community!
