The Thursday meeting of the Montpelier Death Cafe is this week Thursday, September 20th from 5:30-7pm in the back room of The North Branch Cafe at 41 State Street.
This event is free and open to the public- all who come with an open mind are welcome. Because The North Branch is kind enough to let us use their space for free we ask that you consider buying some tea, wine, or one of their delicious goodies while you are there.
The Montpelier Death Cafe is part of an international movement to normalize talking about death and dying. (You can learn more at deathcafe.com) Twice a month we invite people to come and share their thoughts about death, dying, and anything related in a safe community of their peers. We are in need of a new facilitator to join our team on Thursday night. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, let us know! No previous facilitation experience required, but attending death cafe is desired.
The Montpelier Death Cafe meets twice a month, on the second Friday from 12:15-1:45 at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center, and on the third Thursday from 5:30-7 at The North Branch Cafe.
