Family Event: Dinner and Childcare Provided

Hello Middlesex,

If you are a parent, and want to join a group of families to discuss what it feels like to parent amidst our clinate crisis, join us! Climate change is shown to create increased levels of direct and indirect stress for 21rst century families. Being in community can foster connection, and active hope.

Our September gathering will take place this Friday, September 14, from 5:30-7:30pm, at the North Branch Nature Center. Dinner is from 5:30-6, and our gathering goes until 7:30pm. Children 1-8 are in our kids program in the Nature's classroom.
This Friday, we will have a special guest: Taona, from Malawi, Africa, will share her story and work with families and climate change in her country. She will also participate in our conversation about what it's like to parent amidst our clinate crisis: the fears, the hopes, the paralysis, the engagement...The wonder, courage and joy that a close connection with children bring to us parents and adults.

Feel free to get in touch if you have questions, or if you want to receive our monthly newsletter. Tell your friends from neighboring towns: we are growing a local movement.

Thank you! Geraldine
