The Artist In Residence Gallery at 10 S. Main St in St. Albans invites you to our monthly Featured Artists Reception on Thursday, September 6th from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The Gallery is the setting for the beautiful work of 44 outstanding Vermont artists in a wide range of mediums with prices from $3 to $100s. Each month our artists gather to socialize with our visitors and our featured artist give a brief presentation about their work. Light refreshments and pleasant conversation are available.

The September featured artists are: Deb Shell, David Juaire and Ron Hibbard.

Deb Shell: Clay has been a medium in which I am completely at home. Inspired by clay's capacity to produce textures, shapes and utility, my work is a combination of all three. The capacity for clay to convey emotion pleases me, especially when considering the opportunity to create a piece such as mug or a teapot that will brighten someone's day. Deb is one of September's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in Saint Albans Vermont.

David Juaire's early years on a dairy farm provided him with an appreciation of the beautiful pastoral scenes of Vermont. This self-taught photographer has been shooting landscapes, his favorite subject, for over thirty years. David is one of September's featured artists at the Artist In Residence Gallery in Saint Albans Vermont.

Ron Hibbard became acquainted with leather tooling as a teenager, and resumed his interest a few years ago. Since then he has developed proficiency in Sheridan-style leather tooling, applying his individual interpretations of traditional designs to wearable, functional, and decorative pieces. Ron is one of September's Featured artists at the Artist In Residence gallery in St. Albans, VT.
