Fairfax Town Meeting Day is this coming Saturday, March 1st in the gym of the Fairfax Elementary School. The School Meeting begins at 10:00 am followed immediately by the Town Meeting. Why should you go to either meeting when voting will be done on Tuesday, March 4th (in the same location)? Because this is your opportunity to get actual facts, not something off social media or the grapevine. To question and comment. To praise and complain. YES members of the Select Board and School Board really DO listen! Only registered voters may speak, but you can register at the meeting (and at the polls on Tuesday). Just bring a current valid photo ID or a current bank statement, utility bill or government document that contains your name and current address. Town Reports are available at Town Hall.
