Mark your calendars for the second annual youth-organized Race Against Racism on Sunday, Sept. 23 at Montpelier High School! The 5K race will begin at 11:30 and the rally begins at noon. The Race Against Racism is a youth-led, inclusive running event that brings together the community. Runners will run a 5k scenic loop through the streets and bike path of Montpelier, starting at Montpelier High School.
Running is optional! There will be other highlights - including pizza by Woodbelly Pizza and other refreshments, music by A2VT (Hip Hop) and SoundCheck (Indie Rock), spoken word by Lena Ginawi and Rivan Calderin, and a chosen few amazing speakers at the rally. Proceeds will benefit Migrant Justice and Youth 4 Change at The Root Social Justice Center!
