Fall Session: Bioregional Herbalism Series

Past event
Sep 16, 2018, 10 AM to 4 PM

Last session, don't miss out on learning and making some yummy winter remedies!

Bioregional herbalism focuses on bringing us into direct contact with our local plants, and re-learning the deep healing that lies there. Utilizing our local flora not only reduces our energy footprint, but also connects us to a deeper sense of place as we learn the rhythms, the communities, and the fragility and resiliency of the land.

Each class meeting will consist of meeting 3-4 local plants in their communities. Field botany and thorough materia medica will be covered, including energetics, properties, actions, and ethical harvesting techniques. In addition, we will be processing herbal preparations in the field, so you can continue your personal exploration at home and leave with some delightful preparations.

Classes are held on Sundays, from 10--4 at Good Heart Farmstead in Worcester, VT. Pre-registration is required.
