Public Meeting: Main/Barre St. Scoping Study

Past event
Aug 29, 2018, 6 to 8 PM

The City of Montpelier is holding a public meeting on the Main Street and Barre Street Scoping Study. The purpose of this meeting is to present conceptual street design alternatives for the study. The study focuses on improving connectivity for bicycle and pedestrians on Main Street from Memorial Drive to Spring Street and on Barre Street from Main Street to The Montpelier Senior Activity Center. This meeting is an opportunity for the public to view and comment on possible improvements including traffic control techniques at intersections, on road bicycle facilities, and pedestrian crossing locations and treatments. For those who are not able to attend, you may view a recording of the presentation and submit comments on the project website: http://www.montpelier-vt.org/999/Main-and-Barre-Street-Corridors

If you have questions or comments, please contact Corey Line, Project Management Director, at cline@montpelier-vt.org.
