On Tuesday, August 28 at 7 PM, we'll host local storytellers for "Tales from Vermont Farms". Keith Sprague of Brookfield, along with other present and past farmers, will share memories and knowledge of how our local farming communities survived in the "good old days." They will offer stories of farming techniques including haying, grain and other crops, maple syrup, and dairy used by older generations.

This evening of story and memory is made possible by Northfield Savings Bank.

The Brookfield Old Town Hall is located on Stone Road in the village of Brookfield, near the floating bridge. From Montpelier area, take 89S to exit 5, left off exit, pass under 89, then take first right on Stone Road - 6 miles into the village of Brookfield.
