The Burlington School District is hosting tours of BHS to give all residents an opportunity to see the high school and hear about plans to address accessibility, safety, and maintenance issues, and to improve learning environments for students. It is also an opportunity to get answers to questions about the plan and community-led process.
In order to fund changes at BHS, a bond question needs to be approved by City Council so it can be included on the November ballot. The City Council meeting is Aug. 27th, so the tours are happening over the next 2 weeks.
