Abolition & Revolution - UVM Film Screening 1/23

"Abolition & Revolution" is a radical archival documentary film by Burlington filmmaker/activist April Fisher. The film weaves together footage of the Black Panthers, Young Lords, Zapatistas, and other luminary freedom fighters into one piece that aims to incite and inspire.

Doors will open at 6pm, providing an opportunity to connect with activists from local organizations including FreeHer, Food Not Bombs VT, Migrant Justice, and more.

Opening speeches by the wonderful Lydia Diamond and FreeHer VT.

The film will start at 7pm and run until 8:45pm.
