If you've wanted to bring your pup to the Waterbury dog park this summer, this event is a great opportunity to come down! Join us next week on Wednesday, August 1st at 5:30pm at the Waterbury Dog Park (located behind the Ice Center on River Road) for our first ever Sip N' Scrub. It's a great chance to meet new dog owners in the area while contributing to the park's beautification. We'll be laying down topsoil, seeding the grass, weed pulling, planting flowers, raking & more - all with refreshments and good eats right outside the gate for an on-going social hour throughout the event. Feel free to contribute refreshments, pot-luck bites and/or any gardening supplies for the 2-hour effort (including flowers to plant!).
We'll be supplying gloves, available tools and have a list of things we're striving to achieve.
Finally, if you're unable (or not feeling it) to physically contribute, we still encourage you to come through and join the "event oversight" team! :)
