Salvage Supper Club - 8 Elm, Waterbury!

Past event
Aug 11, 2018, 4 to 8 PM

Hey there neighbors,

We are hosting a benefit dinner in the courtyard at 18 Elm on Saturday, August 11th.

This dinner highlights the impact of wasted food and the untapped potential of underused foods on the local and national level.

Local chef Frank Stellato and I will be sourcing and preparing a 6 course vegetarian dinner using food scraps, unmarketable produce and seconds donated by farms, restaurants and grocery stores. UnEarthed Spirits Distillery has donated salvaged cocktails including a seconds beer from Zero Gravity all to be paired with the dinner.

Dinner will serve 16 people, seated at a table made from salvaged wood, inside a 30 cubic yard dumpster!

Theresa Snow of Salvation Farms will be in attendance sharing and presenting information about the impacts of wasted food and also tips for food waste reduction.
A portion of proceeds will benefit the Waterbury Food Shelf and Salvation Farms.

There are just a few tickets left….Click here for more information and to purchase TICKETS:
