Remember the beloved Ward 5 School in Barre? It's getting a new lease on life, and we want YOU to be part of its transformation!

Join us on Friday, February 14th, 4-8 PM at the Barre Labor Hall for a special community event!

Here's what's happening:

· Downstreet Housing is nearing completion of a historic renovation of Ward 5 School into 9 affordable housing units

· We're preserving the school's historic features and essential details

· Artist Mary Tapogna is creating a tile mosaic at the Ward 5 school inspired by YOUR memories

· Share your stories, photos, and memorabilia to inspire this unique artwork

· Connect with fellow alumni and community members over snacks and refreshments

Bring your Ward 5 School treasures - yearbooks, report cards, photos. Any small, flat, and durable items that capture its spirit could be included in the mosaic. Your memories could become part of Barre's history!

Can't make it? Email stories, pictures, voice memos, media to scohen@downstreet.org or drop off items for the mosaic at Studio Place Arts in Barre.
