An Afternoon of Irish Music And Dance
July 22nd , Sunday 2 pm – 6 pm, Little Theater on the Farm presents An Afternoon of Irish Music Featuring the bands Craic Agus Ceol, The Boys of Wexford, and the Hubbard Hall Irish Step Dancers. Craic Agus Ceol means "fun and music" in Irish Gaelic. What better name for a band that is all about combining fun and music. Every performance is filled with toe-tapping tunes and laughter. CAC is based in New York's Capital District.
The Hubbard Hall Irish Dancers are a family school of Irish Dance, dedicated to keeping cultural traditions alive, and sharing and passing on a sense of creativity, fun, movement, and community through music and dance. Some of the dancers have been at Hubbard Hall for 12 years or more, learning set and Ceili dances, traditional jigs, hornpipes, slip jigs and reels, as well as original and student-driven choreographies.
This program is made possible, in part, with public funds from NYS Council on the Arts Decentralization Program, administered locally by the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council.
Little Theater on the Farm is located at 27 Plum Rd. Fort Edward, NY. Recommended donation $10 and $7 for seniors & students includes refreshments. 50/50 raffle available. Baked goods raffle.
