Join a public participatory reading of Frederick Douglass's fiery Independence Day speech on July 3 at Aldrich Public Library at 6:00 pm. The speech, first given in 1852, remains emotionally powerful and thought-provoking more than a century and a half later. The reading is free and open to all, and we need your help!
