Parent University Graduation

Mark your calendars, Parent University is gearing up for graduation!

Join the Burlington School District on June 19th at 3:30 PM at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts as we honor the work of the 55 people who participated in Parent University programming this past year.

During the ceremony, emceed by Hal Colsten, Superintendent Obeng, Speaker of the House Mitzi Johnson, Burlington City Council President Kurt Wright, and representatives from U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and Chief Don Stevens will address the crowd and congratulate participants. Attendees will enjoy performances by Sabouyouma and The Bhutanese Nepalese Cultural Heritage Dance Troupe.

Following the ceremony, guests can mingle and enjoy live music and refreshments, including refreshments donated by Ben & Jerry's. Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to visit with our community partners and exhibitors including Fletcher Free Library, Community and Economic Development Office (CEDO), Burlington Community Justice Center, and more.

This event is free to all and open to the public. Please save the date and plan to join us on June 19th!
