12th Annual Carolan Festival
A gathering for people who play, listen, sing, or dance to the music of Turlough Carolan (1670-1738), blind Irish harper and composer - 214 of his tunes have survived! Beautiful Irish music -- many compositions with a Baroque influence.

Open sessions, Workshops, Participatory Dance & Performances (English & Scottish Country; Irish Step, Ceili, & Sean Nós; Morris, waltzing). Gerlisa Garrett (TCRG), Competitor at The Worlds, will perform Solo Irish Step and lead Ceili dances! All instruments welcome. Concert featuring Young Tradition Vermont Fiddleheads & Harp students with Dominique Dodge; Benedict Koehler & Hilari Farrington.
