This year the Burlington Master Naturlist Program is hosting art workshops to celebrate Burlington's Urban Wilds and connect residents to Burlington's natural spaces through art.

Do you feel intimidated by sketching, out of practice, or absolutely in love with the process? No matter your skill level or age, join us for a two-hour introduction to drawing, where you will learn pointers about how to effectively connect pencil to paper. Lauren Sopher, a graduate student of the Field Naturalist Program at UVM, will lead this visual exploration of the natural landscape.

Pencils and paper will be provided, but please feel free to bring your preferred materials, if you have them.

This workshop series is offered free of charge, but we are accepting donations to help support the continuation of the Burlington Master Naturalist Program. To make a donation, visit the online donation page of the Parks Foundation of Burlington and indicate that the contribution is for the Burlington Master Naturalist Program in the comments fields.
