Learn how to communicate with your pre-verbal toddler at as young of an age as 6 months old. Babies are able to understand language before they can express this understanding in words. As a result, screaming and crying are the only way they can get what they need. But by using simple hand gestures, babies can show you what they are thinking and feeling. Much like reading, it is never too early or late to start signing.
