The basic ingredient in efforts that better the world is love. Love is central to something as big as regional or state peace or as small as feeding a child. Love is the fabric of life that connects us all. Maryl Walters will address this topic and questions during a talk this Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. She, from St. Louis, has presented talks and workshops around the U.S. and abroad for over 20 years. To preview her talk: https://youtu.be/ZeV01RJiZIU.
From my personal experience love is much more than a second hand emotion. It is a universal and very present power that overcomes fear, conflicts (small and big), loneliness, grief, hate, confusion and so much more. I've seen it work in all types of relationships and workplaces. It's fun!
This talk is sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Montpelier.
