To all community members who support veterans, serve in the military or have served in the military, please consider attending Senator Bernie Sanders' "Veterans Town Hall and Resource Fair" this Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Norwich University's Plumley Armory, in Northfield, Vt. Coffee and lunch are provided. There will be a resource fair with over 30 exhibitors; a town hall meeting with remarks by Senator Sanders and National Legislative Director of the American Legion Matthew Shuman, and a panel with local veteran advocates. Then, a lunch with breakout sessions that address such topics as: education and employment; female veterans; exposures from agent orange to burn pits; and housing.
